Project (Im)perfectly perfect

The project “(Im)perfectly perfect” No. 2022-3-PL01-ESC30-SOL-000102974 is focused on activities aimed at combating the phenomenon of body shaming and supporting people struggling with overweight. We want young people struggling with such problems to change their attitude towards themselves and love their body just as it is. The project will include meetings aimed at changing people’s attitudes towards the human body and how it should look like.

The project combines support, cooperation and understanding for others. Thus, the basis of the project is Solidarity in its broadest sense. It is addressed mainly to young people who have had unpleasant experiences with the lack of acceptance of their bodies. We want to start the fight against this unpleasant phenomenon by educating young people through meetings with: a psychologist, dietitian and trainer, as well as through sports and culinary workshops.

At the end of the project, a guide will be created combining the knowledge about body shaiming and body positive passed on during the meetings, as well as useful tips on how to accept and love your body.

The result of the project will also be a calendar for 2024 containing healthy recipes for dishes prepared by participants during culinary workshops. Two recipes will be attached to each month.
