Christmas is an extremely family and magical time that we spend with our loved ones. It is a time full of peace, warmth and joy, when all disputes are extinguished, grudges are forgotten, and love and support from loved ones are the solution to all problems.
On December 16, 2022. On 21 December 2020, pre-Christmas workshops for seniors were held at the 1st Degree Industry School in Sosnowiec, organized as part of the “World on a Plate” project, project no.: 2021-2-PL01-ESC30-SOL-000040182.
The classroom was beautifully decorated. The Christmas tree was decorated with colorful baubles. Nativity scene, charming lanterns, Christmas decorations allowed to create an unusual atmosphere in the room. On that day, the seniors in the classes prepared the following Christmas Eve dishes, i.e.:
- mushroom soup,
- herring under the eiderdown,
- crunchy cookies.
After preparing the dishes, the participants of the project together with representatives of the SMART Foundation sat down to the table together. The Christmas meeting began with greetings for the coming Christmas. Afterwards, everyone ate the prepared food. There was no shortage of singing carols together.
Such meetings bring a lot of joy to everyone. They make people realize how important the presence of another person is in the life of every senior.
