Another culinary workshop is behind us. This time the theme was vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Seniors focused on healthy and good food, because it is known that through the stomach to the heart!
At the beginning of the classes, the participants of the training got acquainted with the secrets of the above-mentioned cuisine, learned about popular dishes of vegetable cuisine, and enriched their knowledge of topics related to healthy eating.
Under the supervision of Mrs. Mariola, healthy dishes were created using the principles of food recycling, i.e.:
– DAL – vegetarian Indian dish of lentils, tomatoes and coconut milk;
– vegan potato soufflé;
– vegetarian red bean chops with garlic butter;
– pumpkin soup – a classic American vegetarian dish.
A friendly atmosphere, joint preparation of meals and conversations at the common table are all that seniors encounter during culinary classes organized as part of the project “World on a plate” project no.: 2021-2-PL01-ESC30-SOL-000040182. They are looking forward to the next classes.
