On June 29, 2022, under the project “Never too late for science” – 2021-1-PL01-KA122-ADU-000021044, seniors went on a trip to the Castle Museum in Pszczyna and Kapias Gardens in Goczałkowice-Zdrój. Each of the seniors had the opportunity to learn about the history of the Castle Museum. They could stay in the bedrooms of Princess Daisy and Prince Hans Heinrich XV. At the end of the tour, the seniors went to the armory, where they could admire armor and weapons not only European, but also oriental. After visiting the museum, the seniors went for a walk in the park, where you can find wonderful tea rooms hidden among the trees. There, the participants took a break while trying a variety of teas.
The next point of the trip was a visit to Goczałkowice, and more precisely to the Kapias Gardens. They are beautiful show gardens divided into two parts, which cover almost 40 hectares and contain 50 thematic spots that are unique and exceptional! Everybody will find something for themselves! Visiting such a beautiful and large area took the participants a total of 2.5 hours, not including a break for a meal and sweets!
