In May, we informed you about a photo competition organized by us, which took place at the Technical Secondary School No. 4 Transport in Sosnowiec. The competition was organized under the project “Colors of Life” -2021-1-PL01-ESC30-SOL-000036535. Students could submit their works in four categories:
- My city
- May nature
- Industrial photography
- Selective color photography – solidarity with Ukraine
The students had time to submit their works by the end of May 2022. It’s time to announce the contest results! In the introductory part, we would like to thank you for the great interest of the students. The works were assessed by the jury: Gabriela Szołtys (geography and biology teacher), Renata Majewska (your favorite teacher), Robert Jastrzębski (English teacher). The decision was very difficult! Here is the verdict:
In the MY CITY category:
- 1st place– Emanuel Syrek, 3DG class
- II place– Bartosz Bajer, class 2KT
- III place ex aequo: Julia Mrzyczek, class 3CP and Miłosz Cogiel, class 3AG
In the INDUSTRIAL FOROGRAPHY category:
- 1st place– Jakub Mółka, class 1KT
- II place ex aequo: Michał Kubanek, class 1KT and Emanuel Syrek, class 3DG
- III place ex aequo: Bartosz Bajer, class 2KT and Miłosz Cogiel, class 3AG
In the MAY NATURE category:
- 1st place– Emanuel Syrek, 3DG class
- II place ex aequo: Kacper Kałwak, class 1KT and Bartosz Bajer, class 2KT
- III place ex aequo: Weronika Piotrowska, Oliwier Dziędziel, Krystian Świętorecki (students of class 2EO) and Nikold Cebulski, class 1LO
- HONORABLE MENTION – Oliwia Antosz, class 1KT
In the PHOTOGRAPHY / SELECTIVE COLOR category – Solidarni with Ukraine
- DISTINCTION for Oliwia Bielińska (class 2ET) and Miłosz Cogiela (class AG)
Congratulations to all students who sent photos for the competition! You can see that photography is their passion. These are not random photos. A well-thought-out frame, appropriate exposure and idea show sensitivity and a high level of skills. Way to go!
