On May 26, 2023, a meeting of seniors with a clinical dietician was held, organized as part of the project \u201cYoung in spirit\u201d project no.: 2022-2-PL01-ESC30-SOL-000091172. The classes were conducted by an experienced specialist in human nutrition, clinical dietetics, gastronomy enthusiast, master of confectionery – Mr. Dariusz M\u0105czka. The topic of the meeting was the basics of nutrition and their impact on the health and condition of seniors. During the lecture, the nutritionist also raised the issue of healthy cooking.<\/p>\n
The participants of the project were presented with the senior nutrition pyramid, pro-health diet ingredients, interactions of drugs with food, as well as practical tips on shopping or composing healthy meals. The seniors in the classes were very active. A fruitful discussion ensued among them. They asked lots of questions and presented their ideas for healthy alternatives.<\/p>\n
These were classes full of useful knowledge, which – we hope – will result in a healthy life for a very long time.<\/p>\n
